Applications:

Intermediate in the production of plasticisers, corrosion inhibitors, textile chemicals, emulsifiers, quats, oil additive, flotation agents. Epoxy resin hardener.
PMDETA is a tertiary amine catalyst known for effectively enhancing the urea reaction (water-isocyanate reaction) in the production of both rigid and flexible polyurethane foamacross a range applications.

Effectively enhances the blowing reaction

PMDETA is highly effective in MDI-based pour-in-place polyurethane systems, particularly in rigid foam applications such as appliances. It is also commonly used alongside trimer catalysts in PIR laminate board stock formulations. Additionally, PMDETA is suitable for use in TDI, TDI/MDI, and MDI high-resilience (HR) flexible molded foams, as well as in integral skin and microcellular polyurethane systems.
