Applications:

Inorganic lubricants for thermoplastics. Acts as a lubricant additive to improve the tribological properties of thermoplastics. Main applications are polyamide compounds (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM) and polyester compounds.

We supply Molybdenum disulfide as a masterbatch in various carriers (PA, LDPE and EVA). The variants in 50% LDPE and 70% in EVA are universally suitable for various applications. Because of the low dosage (typically 3-10%), the proportion of the carrier substance (LDPE or EVA) in the final polymer is so low that generally there is no change in the properties of the final product.

In the case of polyamide compounds, we recommend the use of 40% MoS2 in polyamide (PA), to avoid the use of a foreign carrier. The molybdenum disulfide used, has a small particle size and therefore the product has excellent dispersion characteristics in the final polymer.
