MTHPA (SVHC frei) is a low cost versatile liquid anhydride curing agent for epoxy resins. This product is specially formulated to remain liquid during winter season (typical pour point -20°C to -15°C). It provides unique characteristics to epoxy cured materials such as high voltage and temperature resistance. It finds use in the coating of wind turbines and in reinforced plastics, filament winding products, construction and sport equipment, laminated sheets as well as in the production of electrical parts such as capacitors, resitors, transformers, ignition coils. Special applications include: adhesive potting, casting, encapsulation, and filament winding pultrusion and vacuum impregnation.
