Applications:
Boron nitride BN-35 is used to increase the thermal conductivity of plastics. The most important advantage of using BN-35 is the possibility to obtain a thermally conductive plastic whilst maintaining the electrical insulating properties of the plastic. This is a significant advantage over graphite, the use of which increases the electrical conductivity of the final product.
In order to produce a good thermally conductive plastic you must add a very high dosage of the additive, approximately must be added 60 %.
In addition, other grades of boron nitride are used as additives in high-quality specialty oils and specialty greases for improving the frictional properties.
Other grades with different particle size distributions are available, so that an accurate adjustment can be made to the final product.
